Communication Skills
Interviewing
These days, when hiring employees, not only is it important
to find out their skills and knowledge, but also their
talents. A talent, as defined by Gallup, is a recurring
pattern of thought, feeling, or behavior productively
applied.
Talents are what we do naturally and behaviors that we
do often. We don’t need to be taught talents. This
interviewing course teaches interviewers not only the
skills of behavioral interviewing, but just as importantly
the way to uncover people’s natural inclinations
or talents.
Objectives:
- Learn a way to uncover past performance---skills,
knowledge and talents
- Develop effective interview questions
- Practice interviewing
NOTE: While we can teach this course in a half-day format,
it is preferable for participants to go through a day
long version so that they can practice and get feedback
